Verification and reputation are tracked per persona — switching identities never means starting from zero, and never means borrowing someone else's standing.
05Stealth mode
Identity is private. Reputation is public.
Turn on stealth mode and your name and avatar are replaced by a consistent anonymous identity — the same one every time, so a thread still reads as a conversation rather than a room of strangers.
What stays on screen is everything a reader needs to weigh the claim: what kind of persona you are, whether that persona is verified, and what your standing is.
Anonymity is recorded at the moment you publish, not merely while a toggle is on. Step back into the light and your earlier news can stay anonymous — surface by surface, on your terms.

Four kinds of thing can be reported, and all of them travel the same review pipeline:

You can see where your own report got to. Restrictions are logged, time-bound, and appealable — and a pattern of bad-faith reporting costs the reporter, not the person they reported.
Two different exits
Mute
Quietly drops a person or a community out of your feeds. They stay reachable if you ever go looking — nothing is announced, nothing is severed.
Block
A full cut-off. Out of your feeds, out of search, out of discovery — and, for a community, no way back in.

Help, attached to the news
When someone raises a problem, an assistance panel can appear beside it with practical context. It is dismissible, clearly marked, and always kept apart from the community's own replies.
