I started Duruha because the places where we get our information were built to keep us scrolling — not to help us understand.
Most social platforms reward whatever spreads fastest. Credibility, context, and relevance come second. I kept seeing people I know — students, freelancers, neighbors — drown in noise while the information that actually mattered to them got buried.
Duruha is my attempt at a different trade-off: a trust-first social layer where people control the quality of what they see through reputation, verified personas, configurable feeds, and geo-relevant communication.
It's early. I'm building the trust layer first and validating whether people genuinely want reputation-aware spaces before expanding. If that resonates with you, I'd love to hear from you.
Attention should be chosen
Feeds should answer to the people reading them, not to engagement metrics. You decide what earns your time.
Trust has to be earned
Reputation, verified personas, and accountability make it possible to be anonymous without being careless.
Local signal matters
The most useful information is often the closest — your campus, your barangay, your neighborhood.
- Hoping — honestly, praying — that someone out there gets excited to use Duruha.
- Realigning my plans in life. The economy and everything around me haven't always lined up with my ideas.
- Spending most of my time building myself.
