Delete Your Duruha Account

You can request deletion of your Duruha account and associated data at any time. Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

Delete from the app

Open the Duruha app and sign in.
Go to Profile, then Settings.
Open Delete / Backup Account.
Select Delete Account and follow the confirmation steps.

If you cannot access your account in the app, email us from the email address associated with your Duruha account and ask for account deletion.

What is deleted

Your account, profile, personas, personal settings, and authentication record.
Media and files stored for your account where deletion is technically possible.
Your posts, comments, votes, reactions, connections, saved items, and notifications, removed by cascade deletion.
Your identity-verification record, including the identity fingerprint retained after your ID images were purged at review.
Personal data associated with your account in Duruha systems.

Deactivating instead

If you only want to step away, you can deactivate your account from the app instead. Deactivation hides your profile and keeps your data intact so you can reactivate later. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

What may be retained

When you delete your account we write one minimal audit record: your email address, the reasons you selected, your account creation date, your general location ID, and counts of your personas and posts. It contains no posts, media, or verification data, and is kept for fraud prevention and abuse enforcement.

We may also retain limited records where required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or audit logs — including moderation records needed to enforce a ban. Retained data is kept only for as long as necessary for those purposes. Content you cross-posted to a connected Facebook Page lives on Meta’s systems and is not removed by deleting your Duruha account.
